What is Benefit-Assist?

Benefit-Assist is a mobile app that uses AI to help employees get plain-language answers about their employer-sponsored benefits. The assistant - named Ben - answers questions based on the plan documents your employer has uploaded.

Is Ben giving me medical, legal, or financial advice?

No. Ben provides informational responses based on your employer's plan documents. His answers are not medical, legal, or financial advice. For decisions about your health or finances, please consult a qualified professional. For authoritative information about your coverage, always refer to your official plan documents or contact your plan administrator or insurer directly.

What languages does Ben support?

Ben currently supports English and Spanish. You can ask questions and receive answers in either language.

Can I use my voice to ask questions?

Yes. Ben supports both voice and text input. You can speak your question or type it - whichever is easier for you.

Is Benefit-Assist available on my phone?

Benefit-Assist is available for iPhone (iOS) and Android devices.

Why didn't Ben know the answer to my question?

Ben's answers are based on the plan documents your employer has uploaded. If a question falls outside those documents, Ben may not be able to answer it. For questions about coverage details not addressed in the app, contact your HR department or your insurance carrier directly.
